Week 7 - Still Suffolk :)

  This week has been pretty good. We had exchanges with the ZLs and that was fun. Their area seems like people are a lot easier to talk to and people seem to be more interested. It's been a pretty short week, since last pday was Wednesday, so not much more happened. Saw an accident happen in a parking lot. Wasnt too serious and no one was hurt. Week 6 - Suffolk, VA

  Kyle Martin Wed, Feb 25, 6:27 PM (5 days ago) to bcc:  me This week has been pretty good. One of our friends got baptized on Sunday. We had zone conference on Thursday, and  Elder  Haynie talked to us about baptizing more, and a few other things. We've been able to get more dinners with members, which is always nice because they usually make something better than us missionaries can make in the time we have for meals. We got to go to the temple today, so that's why pday this week is on Wednesday.

Week 5 - Suffolk, VA

  Hey everyone! This week we had exchanges and I ended up with  Elder  Satterthwaite. He's pretty chill and is good at walking around to talk to people. Temperatures have been warmer this week, around high 40s. We have a friend on date for baptism on Sunday, so that's exciting. President Oaks gave his first talk as Prophet and I'd encourage everyone to listen to it. Week 3 MTC

I'm finally in the field. My trainer  Elder  Ford is chill. Our apartment has a gym that we're able to go to every morning. It's snowy here and everyone's been freaking out about that cause apparently it doesn't usually snow here. Found an electric guitar at the apartment so I've been able to play that a little as well as my acoustic guitar. No amp though. Most people here are already going to some church and know who Jesus is and stuff, so we don't have to teach them much about him. We just kind of invite people to church and Bible study. We're only able to do actual lessons with a couple people. Still good though. The days are pretty full and we're pretty much busy from 9 to 9 every day. We received an email and photo this morning around 7am that Elder Martin has arrived safely in the mighty Virginia Richmond Mission. WEEK 2 MTC

This week some things actually happened, schedule is still pretty full and lots of classes. We went to the temple. WEEK 1

This week has been good. I went to the MTC in person on Wednesday and met my district. I got a different companion than I had in home mtc but my new companion is chill.
